[FREE PICK] Memphis Tigers vs Cincinnati Bearcats NCAAB Pick

Memphis vs Cincinnati NCAAB game

The Memphis Tigers and the Cincinnati Bearcats meet in college basketball action from Fifth Third Arena on Thursday.

Memphis enters this one at 17-6 on the year. After a three-game win streak over UCF, Connecticut and Temple, the Tigers lost their last game to South Florida on Saturday.

In the loss to the Bulls, Memphis’ lead scorer was Tyler Harris with 17 points and two rebounds. Both Alex Lomax and Boogie Ellis each added 14 points with three rebounds, and a combined seven assists.

Over on the Cincinnati side, they’re 15-8 on the year. The Bearcats won five straight versus East Carolina, Temple, SMU, Houston and Wichita State but lost their last game to Connecticut.

In the OT loss to the Huskies, Cincinnati’s Tre Scott topped the team on 25 points with 13 rebounds and two assists. Keith Williams added 14 points there, and Jarron Cumberland had 10 assists, five rebounds and eight points.

The Bearcats are 1-4 ATS in their last five Thursday games and 5-0 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss. Cincinnati is 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and the under is 4-1 in their last five home games.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Thursday games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four road games after three or more straight home games. The under is 9-1 in Memphis’ last 10 road games and 5-1 in the last six versus a team with a winning straight-up record.

Memphis has been pretty hit and miss scoring-wise over their last several games, and though they’ve hit 70 points in each of their last three, the Tigers had also been at 60 or below in three of four games prior.

As for Cincinnati, they’ve been doing fairly well offensively lately, but it’s worth noting that the last meeting between these teams was a 60-49 Memphis home win. Still, I like the Bearcats to get some revenge and bang out a cover in what should be a fun game.
